The Virginia Marti Fabric store was founded in April of 1992 by Virginia Marti-Veith - designer and founder of the Virginia Marti College of Fashion & Art. Ms. Marti-Veith found that a need existed for designer and exclusive fabrics--hence she established the fabric store. Fabric store clients include professional seamstresses, designers, students and executives requesting custom-made clothes.
We specialize in wools, silks, and evening-wear fabrics. We add seasonal cottons, linens, and coatings in the Fall. Also, we have a large selection of the most exquisite imported faux furs.
A future bride can design her dream gown from exquisite silks and satins and beautiful beaded laces from many countries. The bridal beaded brocades and silks come from Belgium, France, and the Orient. Customers can find other specialty fabrics in the shop that include: wool crepes, coatings and suitings, silks, linens, imported and domestic cottons, imported rayons, and much more.
